PCR, Thermal Cycler Servicing & Calibration

Lab3 Ltd has now expanded its service and calibration portfolio and can now provide full UKAS calibration on PCR systems.

Our range of precision temperature sensors can  be used to inspect any combination of the thermal cycler’s wells.

This flexibility allows us to not only validate general thermal cycler / PCR machine performance but also to check temperature gradients and to conduct detailed analysis of individual block areas.

   

Specifications

Calibrations to an accuracy of +0.1°C

Temperature range of 0 to 100°C

Standard UKAS calibration protocol of 2 minutes at each of the

following temperatures  4, 35, 55, 72, 95, 72, 55, and 35 °C, with an uncertainty of 0.14 °C

Full UKAS certificate supplied detailing all parameters
